YOUTH SURVIVAL PROJECT- Is our newest program that we are developing- It is based on the book YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE an autobiography by Gumersindo Vidot. Currently its goal is to create a National 24 hour Resource website and Hotline that will steer troubled youth to programs, agencies and groups who can provide needed services to them inj their local community. The project hopes to help provide mentoring services and do outreach to bring awareness to their issues. Currently it is a one day program of about 90 minutes to two hours that will include some video, readings from the book YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE, some performance, preferably by a young person and a Q and A with the author or a representative of the Youth Survival Project.  We also have a special 90 minute program on Youth Homicides that includes a 1 hour video called "Don't Fall Down In The Hood" with  youth participating in a survey afterwards. We will also provide literature and referrals to services and programs to the youth. We look to partner with other agencies and programs that support youth. Currently we are scheduled to unveil the main YOUTH SURVIVAL PROJECT website for the program in Late March or April. This is just a first step in developing our National Resource Youth Hub.
